Thought I'd share a Nail of the Day post with you, for a little change. It is very rare that I get time to paint my nails these days with little 14wk old Isabelle around, so it was a nice treat to find time to paint them today. I chose a nude polish, which is a bit different for me, as I usually go for brights or a classic deep burgundy.
I bought two Lasting Fix polishes from the 17 range at Boots whilst out and about last week, this nude shade called Forever and a pale coral called Orange Soda for my toes. They cost £2.99 each, and if you buy two products from 17 you get a cute little freebie, called 'Nail Bar in a Bag', that includes two polishes, some nail stickers and a file. So for £6.00 I got four polishes and some extra goodies.
The polish applies really easily, no dragging or streaking, and dries super fast. I can't see it being a long wearing polish so I topped it of with Creative Nail Design Super Shiny top coat, for extra shine and to keep it in place a bit longer. Two coasts of the polish gives perfect opaque coverage, and I fancied adding some cute little flower stickers, that I picked up at Savers for a couple of quid.
I really like the nude polish, can't believe I haven't tried it earlier! What do you think of nail stickers? Do you use them or are they a bit tacky? I quite like them, if just for their quick and easy application.
Love Edie xx
