Olay Daily Facials Cleansing Cloths Review

Hello at last lovely followers! I am finally all moved into my new home and settled in. I still have no broadband so am relying on my phone for internet which is not ideal for blogging! I am so thrilled that I have so many new followers, so to all of you - a big hello and welcome to Beauty Baby!!

My first post from my new home is a quick review of Olay Daily Facials Clarifying Cleansing Cloths. I picked these 'quick fix' facial cloths up a while back as my freebie in a 3 for 2 offer at Boots, and it turns out that they have been ideal for me during my house move.

My usual product choice for cleansing my skin is a facial wash, usually Dermalogica Dermal Clay, or Estee Lauder Splash Away. I have very oily skin, and prefer to use washes rather than cleansers, for the fresher feeling that I find I get. The Olay cloths are so convenient, so if you love facial washes, but are on the move a lot, these are ideal for popping in your wash bag for a couple of days away from home, without having to carry big bulky products.

The cloths have one textured side, that gently exfoliates the skin, and cleanses really effectively. They are quite heavily fragranced, which I wasn't overly keen on, but i got used to it after a couple of uses. The lather is rich and creamy, and I found they removed make up really well, and I wear a moderate amount of make up during the day.

Olay Daily Facials are available for normal to oily skin, which are the ones I tried, and also for sensitive skin. They are £3.99 for 30 cloths from Boots, which I think is quite expensive if you are using two a day. £8.00 a month is a lot for face wash, you could buy a really top quality facial wash (Dermalogica Dermal Clay for example is around £20 for 250ml), which would work out at less than £8.00 a month.

All in all, I would say that these wipes are worth a try if you are on the move a lot, and need to travel light. They do leave the skin feeling very clean, fresh and super smooth, however, they are just too pricey for 'daily' use.

Love Edie xx
